New convection cooled enclosed power supply - RSP-200
|After the launch of RSP-320 (320W) series, MEAN WELL announced the extension of its RSP-200 series of 200W AC/DC low profile single output enclosed type switching power supply. Featuring with 1U low profile (30mm in height), high efficiency, and free air convection cooling without fan, RSP-200 series are 24.7% smaller in size and 6~19% higher in working efficiency compared to the original SP-200 series (200W). The -30~+70ºC operating temperature range is even wider than the -10~+60ºC range of SP-200 series. Considering the performance and dimension, RSP-200 series are much superior to their predecessor models and are especially suitable for end users who require energy-saving, no noise, limited space for installation, as well as low cost.|
With up-to-date high performance circuit topology, RSP-200 series equip with PFC function and possess up to 90% of high efficiency, so it can be cooled by free air convection from -30ºC to +45ºC ambient temperature under full load condition, and even up to +70ºC by suitable derating. In order to fit in with the humid and dusty environment, these new series provide optional conformal coating models (RSP-200-xx-CC), which have basic anti-moisture and anti-dust ability by the coating material on the PCB.
In addition, to fulfill the low profile and low output voltage demands from LED display manufacturers, RSP-200 series also provide 2.5V/3.3V/4V/5V (40A) models for their selection. Other built-in functions include short circuit, overload, over voltage and over temperature protections. All series comply with UL, CUL, TUV, CB, and CE regulations that can greatly guarantee your safety. Applications include industrial automation system, mechanical and electrical industry, instruments, LED display, or any systems that require 1U low profile installations.
