New switched power supplies. PPS-200 Series

We are proud to present the new series of switched power supplies PPS-200.
How much power can a box of 127 x 76.2 x 34.6 mm generate? 80W, 120W or 150W? We have managed to generate 200W.
The PPS-200 series: open format, with PFC offering up to 200W in a standard board size. Thanks to the most advanced soft switching and synchronised rectification all of the models all models offer a significant improvement in the efficiency of the power sources. This creates less heat, saves energy and increases the lifetime of all of the power supply's components and those in close proximity. With these new designs we have managed to improve efficiency by 6% over the conventional designs. The PPS-200 series can generate 200W with forced ventilation and 150W without. Power density of 10W per cubic inch. Universal input range of 90-264 Vac and due to their compact size are suitable for applications of 1U (1.75 inches high). Possible uses: electronics, factory automation, telecommunications, networks, measuring devices, and any application which requires a small, robust product. For more information visit:
MEAN WELL is investing a great deal in R&D to discover new innovative designs which offer greater reliability and performance. This new series is, of course, RoHS compliant and we have taken especial care in the choice of components to ensure maxium safety.
